Trump revives election fraud claims after another rough night for Republicans

President Donald Trump alleged, without evidence, that the Los Angeles mayoral race is “crooked” and that Republican candidates in California are “being cheated.”
In the L.A. mayoral race, Democrats Karen Bass and Nithya Raman are projected to advance to a run-off, with Republican Spencer Pratt likely not making the cut under California’s “open” primary system.
Trump also claimed fraud in California’s governor’s race and repeated his election rigging allegations at a Wisconsin event.
The Department of Justice dispatched an Assistant U.S. Attorney to observe vote counting in L.A., while California Attorney General Rob Bonta reassured the public about election integrity.
Throughout his statements, Trump provided no evidence to support his claims of widespread election fraud.
