The Royal Family marked one of the most important days in their calendar today, as a host of senior royals stepped to mark the annual Trooping the Colour celebrations on a sunny day in London.
King Charles and Queen Camilla led the carriage procession down the Mall to the Horse Guards parade, with the Princess of Wales and her three children followed closely behind. Prince William, Prince Edward and Princess Anne were all on horseback, as is tradition.
Following the hour-long ceremony at Whitehall, the royals made their way back to Buckingham Palace, where they gathered on the balcony to watch the impressive RAF flypast.
The day went off without a hitch, and while many royal watchers were transfixed with the display of pomp and pageantry on show in London, there were a few blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments.
In one sweet moment, Princess Kate was seen fixing her youngest son Louis’ hair, while the Duke of Kent seemed to be checking his mobile phone during the flypast.
Check out the sweet moments you might’ve missed from Trooping the Colour 2026 below.
