Charlton Athletic have agreed to sign Super Eagles goalkeeper, Arthur Okonkwo, on loan from Wrexham, DAILY POST reports.
Okonkwo, who has one year on his contract with Wrexham, will become a free agent next summer.
The 24-year-old has established himself as Wrexham’s first choice goalkeeper since arriving the club from Arsenal in September 2023.
The shot stopper, however, lost his place towards the end of last season.
Anthony Patterson’s arrival from Sunderland in a club-record deal reportedly worth around £8 million has further pushed him down the pecking order at the club.
Charlton beat Bolton Wanderers to Okonkwo’s signature.
