Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, has advised his old club to sign Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly to bolster manager, Michael Carrick’s squad.
Rooney insisted that it would be an absolute no-brainer if the Red Devils could bring the 19-year-old to the Emirates Stadium.
“I don’t think you can rely on Luke Shaw to be consistent for the whole season,” Rooney said on the Overlap.
“That leads me to Lewis-Skelly, and we are hearing that he is available for not much money.
“If you can get a player who can play left-back, he can play centre midfield. I think it is an absolute no-brainer if you can bring him in.”
Myles Lewis-Skelly was promoted to Arsenal’s first team in 2024, and his current contract with the Premier League champions will expire in 2030.
