Manchester City midfielder, Rodri, is set to undergo medicals with Barcelona after the two clubs agreed a free.
Rodri was not part of Enzo Maresca’s squad for the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in Sunday’s Community Shield.
The Spain captain will now travel on Monday to finalize his transfer to Barcelona.
This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, via his X account.
Romano wrote: “Rodri has authorization to fly to Barcelona today, Monday ahead of move being completed.
“Medical booked by Barcelona and Rodri will sign a four year deal until June 2030 this week.
“Fee worth €60m fixed, €6m easy add-ons and €10m difficult add-ons.”
