Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, made two demands from the board as it concerns transfers.

AS reports that Mourinho said he wants two players in each position.

The 63-year-old, who returned to the Bernabeu this summer for a second stint, also made it clear he wanted more speed in attack.

This is the major reason Madrid have been fighting to sing Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.

Diomande is now on the brink of signing for Los Blancos, after they agreed a fixed fee of around €115m with Leipzig.

The other players Madrid have signed so far include Marc Cucurella from Chelsea, Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan and Carlos Espi from Levante.

Both Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konate arrived as free agents.
