Nigerian striker, Terem Moffi is closing in on a move to Bundesliga club Hamburg SV, DAILY POST reports.

According to the Hamburger Abendblatt, the transfer is expected to be finalised in the next few days.

Moffi has been declared surplus to requirements by French club OGC Nice.

The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Portuguese champions FC Porto.

Moffi registered one goal and one assist in nine league appearances for the Dragons.

The forward initially joined Nice on loan from another French side Lorient in January 2023.

The move was made permanent in the summer of 2023.
