Nigerian striker, Josh Maja has sealed a permanent transfer to French club, Le Havre AC, DAILY POST reports.

Maja joined Le Havre on a free transfer after rejecting a new contract offer from Sky Bet Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion.

The 27-year-old penned a one- year contract with an option for a second year. 

The former Sunderland forward will wear the number 9 jersey at the Stade Océane.

Maja is well known in France having played for Girondins Bordeaux from January 2019 to June 2023.

The striker scored 25 goals in 85 league appearances for the Navy and Whites.
