Chelsea legend, John Terry, has reacted to the club’s latest signing, Morgan Rogers.
Chelsea recently signed Rogers from Aston Villa for £117 million on a long-term contract.
Reacting, Terry insisted that the 23-year-old will improve Xabi Alonso’s side.
“The numbers are inflated; that is not the players’ issue for me,” Terry said on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
“To be honest, if you were him, you’d have probably gone to Arsenal, so the numbers must have been pretty big. But I’m excited to have him. I think he’s a good player.
“I think he is going to give us better than what we have got at the moment. I think he is a good addition to the squad, and I’m actually excited to see him.”
