Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick has revealed that he will speak with the club’s sporting director, Deco, regarding the signing of a new striker this week.
Flick spoke during his post-match interview after Barcelona’s 5-0 win over Elche in LaLiga on Sunday.
Speaking about the possibility of Barcelona signing a new striker before the summer transfer window closes next week, Flick said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “I will speak to Deco, and we will see. Let’s see what happens this week.”
Meanwhile, in another development, Al Hilal have submitted a €55 million bid for Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli.
According to The Times’ Gary Jacob, the Saudi Arabian club are now hoping to tempt Arsenal into selling the 25-year-old before the transfer window closes.
