Barcelona are hoping that Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, helps them unlock their move to sign Julian Alvarez, according to SPORT.
Alvarez has the subject of a £100m bid from Barca, which was rejected by Atletico Madrid.
Atletico have insisted they will not sell Alvarez to their LaLiga rivals and would rather do business with foreign clubs.
However, they are eyeing Osimhen as a possible replacement, if the Argentina international eventually leaves.
Osimhen is believed to be keen on a move to Spain, but his salary demands remain a major obstacle.
Barcelona are waiting to see how the situation unfolds.
