Arsenal have completed the signing of Real Madrid captain, Misa Rodriguez.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper moves to the English club after the expiry of her contract.

She will be part of Arsenal’s goalkeeping options that already includes Daphne Van Domselaar, Anneke Borbe and Isabella Damm.

Rodriguez made 215 appearances for Real and also has 24 caps for Spain.

She becomes Arsenal’s seventh signing of a very busy summer transfer window, after moves for Damm, Georgia Stanway, Geraldine Reuteler, Selina Cerci, Ona Batlle and Lisa Baum.

The Spaniard is also the fifth free transfer made by Arsenal this summer, after Stanway, Batlle, Cerci and Reuteler.
