Arsenal squad members are unhappy with Mikel Arteta’s decision to push Gabriel Martinelli towards the exit, according to Goal.
It is understood that several players have expressed sympathy for Martinelli after the winger was left out of the Community Shield and the Premier League opener.
Arteta’s treatment of the Brazil international is said to be causing “some discomfort” within the dressing room.
Martinelli is now closing in on a move to Al Hilal, with Arsenal reportedly negotiating a package worth around £55m plus add-ons.
