Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare is on the verge of joining Dutch giants Ajax from Wolverhampton Wanderers, DAILY POST reports.

According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano the agreement will be a loan with a buy option for over €20 million.

“Ajax are closing in on deal to sign Tolu Arokodare as new striker from Wolves!

Club to club agreement done on loan with buy option for package slightly over €20m,” Romano wrote on X.

“Ajax wanted Tolu as priority, club sources confirm— now working on final details.”

Arokodare was previously linked with a move to Serie A clubs Fiorentina, and Genoa.

The 25-year-old joined Wolves from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk last summer.

The striker registered three goals, and one assists in 33 league appearances for the Old Gold.
