Yellowstone star Cole Hauser opens up on Dutton Ranch ‘challenges’
- Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler in the new spin-off series Dutton Ranch, said “there were challenges” while launching the show.
- Speaking to Film Inside NYC, Hauser added: “Not having Taylor [Sheridan] there, for us to really kind of be able to work with these new writers, these new directors, these people… everything had changed.”
- Hauser said the “only normality that we had whatsoever on set” was having Reilly, their Yellowstone co-star Finn Little and the show’s former director Christina Alexandra Voros.
- Nevertheless, Hauser expressed pride in the work accomplished and “look[s] forward to doing it again”, adding: “We worked our asses off this year.”
- The Yellowstone franchise has become a TV juggernaut, spawning four spin-offs, including 1883, 1923, Marshals and Dutton Ranch.
