Pentagon’s UFO files show no strong evidence of aliens, analyst says
David Grusch, a former U.S. Air Force officer, renewed claims that the federal government is hiding information about alien life and secret UFO programs.
Grusch and other whistleblowers gathered at the U.S. Capitol, demanding greater government transparency and the release of files detailing encounters with non-human life, including the 1996 Varginha incident.
Several lawmakers, including Republicans Anna Paulina Luna and Eric Burlison, and Democrat Jared Moskowitz, expressed bipartisan support for disclosure and whistleblower immunity.
The Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) conducted a 2024 review following Grusch’s 2023 testimony but found no evidence of recovered extraterrestrials or technology.
Some political figures, such as JD Vance and Lauren Boebert, have suggested that alleged “aliens” might be spiritual entities or demons rather than extraterrestrial beings.
