Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson, boxing champion Tyson Fury and reality star Stacey Solomon are among the contenders whose television shows are shortlisted for this year’s National Television Awards.

Recognising the surge in fly-on-the-wall celebrity programming, At Home With The Furys, Clarkson’s Farm and Stacey & Joe will compete for the inaugural reality docuseries award.

Also shortlisted are Fletchers’ Family Farm, following actor Kelvin Fletcher’s move to agriculture, and fishing series Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing, fronted by comedians Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse.

The nominees will compete on Tuesday night during a ceremony hosted by comedian Joel Dommett for his sixth consecutive year.

Elsewhere, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and The Traitors lead the reality competition category alongside spin-offs I’m A Celebrity… South Africa and The Celebrity Traitors.

They are joined by Race Across The World, while breakout series Heated Rivalry is nominated for new drama.

Starring Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams as rival hockey players falling in love, the show faces A Woman Of Substance, Believe Me, I Fought The Law and The Other Bennet Sister.

Naturalist Sir David Attenborough earned two NTA nominations in his 100th birthday year, recognised for nature documentary Secret Garden alongside a TV presenter nod.

Sir David faces This Morning host Alison Hammond, Sort Your Life Out star Solomon and former Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman, who fronts The Traitors.

Presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are also shortlisted, after former Match Of The Day host Gary Lineker ended their 23-year streak at the 2025 ceremony.

The NTAs feature their first all-female drama performance shortlist, with Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones nominated for playing private investigator Elena Ravenscroft in thriller Run Away.

The Bafta-winning actor competes against Ella Bruccoleri, Judy Parfitt, Sheridan Smith and Vicky McClure.

Comedy nominations include sitcom Amandaland – starring Lucy Punch as a divorced mother downsizing to South Harlesden – alongside Changing Ends, Last One Laughing, Not Going Out and Mrs Brown’s Boys.

The authored documentary category features posthumous appearances from Caroline Flack and Ozzy Osbourne in Caroline Flack: Search For The Truth and Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home.

Also nominated are Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix, which followed the singer as her twin daughters received spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) diagnoses, Our Girls: The Southport Families and Sir Chris Hoy: Cancer, Courage And Me.

Ant and Dec received a second nod in the quiz show section for Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win, competing with Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, Richard Osman’s House of Games, The 1% Club and The Chase.

McIntyre is also nominated for the Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award for Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, up against Gladiators, The Masked Singer, The Graham Norton Show and Would I Lie To You?

Casualty, Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks compete for serial drama, while EastEnders’ Aaron Thiara, Emmerdale’s Jeff Hordley and Coronation Street’s Gareth Pierce are shortlisted for serial drama performance.

The 31st NTAs will be broadcast live from London’s O2 arena on ITV1 and ITVX from 8pm on Tuesday.
