Chucky mask suspect accused of terrorizing people identified
- Philadelphia police have identified 22-year-old Zymire Hughes as the suspect wanted for threatening and terrorizing people while wearing a Chucky mask near City Hall on August 12.
- Hughes faces potential charges including terroristic threats, harassment, simple assault and reckless endangerment, after confronting at least six people during a 20-minute spree.
- During one incident, Hughes allegedly held out his cellphone, asked a 40-year-old female jogger if she was ready to die, and chased her as she screamed for help.
- Investigators believe Hughes may have fled Pennsylvania and noted that he has known ties to both California and Nevada.
- The U.S. Marshals Service is assisting Philadelphia authorities in searching for Hughes, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
