Child, 3, in critical condition after violent storm tears through inflatable house
Six people were hospitalised after the inflatable accident, authorities said according to CTV News (CTV News)
A violent thunderstorm in Greater Montreal launched an inflatable house into the air on Sunday afternoon, resulting in multiple injuries.
A three-year-old child is in critical condition after being trapped inside the inflatable house as it was lifted approximately 40 feet high.
Paramedics evaluated 11 people at Ouellette Park in LaSalle, with six individuals, including four adults and two children, transported to the hospital.
Witnesses described chairs and tables flying as the storm hit, with the inflatable house dramatically turning in the air before crashing down.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) had issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Montreal and surrounding areas prior to the incident.
