Strictly Come Dancing has announced its third celebrity competing in the upcoming BBC series.
The BBC show is back this Autumn and Winter for its first series since hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman quit the programme. Tess and Claudia have since been replaced by a trio of presenters – Johannes Radebe, Josh Widdecombe and Emma Willis.
Following the announcement of Lacey Turner and Dani Dyer for the upcoming series, the third celebrity has now been revealed as Delta Goodrem takes to the dancefloor.
Stacey Slater star Lacey – who has starred on the BBC soap for years – was the first name to be announced this year. The BBC show usually make their announcements from August onwards, but this year, the names have come earlier.

“I am so excited to being making my way to the dance floor this year to be a part of Strictly! I am a huge fan and can’t quite believe I will be taking part and not watching at home this year! I look forward to meeting everyone and learning a new skill!” she said.
Dani Dyer has also been announced for this series after she was forced to pull out owing to injury last year. She had hurt her foot during training and was unable to take part on the programme.
She said of her return: “I am so excited to be back in the ballroom this September! I just cannot wait to get my dancing shoes back on and hopefully this time around I can actually make it to week one!
“I’m just over the moon and cannot wait to find out who else is doing it!” Dani withdrew last year due to injury before the show even began and there had been hope she’d make her return again.”
Five professional dancers – Gorka Marquez, Michelle Tsiakkas, Karen Hauer, Nadiya Bychkova, and Luba Mushtuk – have all been booted off the show in the recent weeks, with five new professional dancers set to join the show.
Speaking about moving from a professional dancer to host, Johannes Radebe said: “To be returning to Strictly Come Dancing in this new role is beyond anything I ever imagined. This show has always stood for joy, heart, and togetherness, and I feel deeply honoured to now help carry that magic forward.
“To do it alongside the formidable Emma Willis and the utterly brilliant Josh Widdicombe makes it even more special. I’m ready-sequins, nerves, and all…please bear with me. Love Jojo.”
