The five new pro dancers joining the Strictly ballroom this year
Meet the professionals joining the show for the 2026 series
- Maddie Ingoldsby: A British dancer and UK National Ballroom Champion who describes joining Strictly as a “dream come true”.
- Aleksandra Isaeva: The Ukrainian is ranked in the world’s top 21 Latin dancers and says joining the show is a “true honour”.
- Cristian Priori: The four-time Latin dancing champion hails from Rome and is Isaeva’s dance partner.
- Lethabo Monametsi: The South African dancer has performed with the likes of singer Diana Ross and composer Hans Zimmer, as well as on The Masked Singer SA.
- Mark Karmalita: A two-time National Latin Champion in his native Canada, who says he is honoured to be “stepping into a ballroom with so much history and heart”.
