- The sequel, starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, will now be released nearly six years after the first film.
- Confirmed cast members include Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell, with Marvel stars Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan also joining.
- Stan appeared to confirm at the Cannes film festival that he will play the villain Two-Face, while Scarlett Johansson’s role has led to speculation she could play Gilda Dent.
