Teen ‘assisting police with their inquiries’ over Manchester Airport hoax

- The aircraft, travelling from Doha, landed safely at Manchester Airport at 7:45pm BST, with no threat to passengers or crew.
- A 14-year-old boy from Bolton, who was not on the flight, is assisting Greater Manchester Police with their inquiries in connection with the incident.
- Chief Inspector Gary Homa emphasised the seriousness of hoax calls, stating they cause significant disruption and divert vital emergency service resources.
