Starring in the new Irn-Bru advert, singing the Cornetto theme tune and performing at the World Cup – Susan Boyle admits she is living the dream.
Subo, who revealed a dramatic new blonde bombshell look a few weeks ago, says she is in a “really happy place” in her life.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Record, Susan, who recently moved from Blackburn to Larbert, near Falkirk, also reveals her love for footballers John McGinn and Andy Robertson and her desire to duet with Lewis Capaldi and Josh Groban.
The 65-year-old, who will be one of the celebrity guests at our Pride of Scotland awards on Monday night, said: “I’m in a really happy place in my life at the moment.
“I’m loving my new house and have been welcomed by the community with open arms; I had a ball filming the new Irn-Bru advert and singing Just One – the Cornetto theme tune was a dream come true.
“And now I’m off to Boston for the World Cup where I will be performing at a show before Scotland’s opening game with Haiti and then cheering them on with an Irn-Bru in my hand.”

Susan set the internet on fire earlier this week with the release of the hilarious Irn-Bru World Cup advert in which she stars alongside footballer John McGinn, Franz Ferdinand rocker Alex Kapranos and comedian Paul Black.
In the viral commercial BGT superstar sings Scotland anthem “We’re made in Scotland from Girders” atop the Forth Road Bridge before breakdancing in front of Tartan Army fans gathered on the shores of Loch Lomond.
Susan, who is a massive Scotland fan, says she had so much fun filming the ad and was delighted to be offered the opportunity to get behind her national team.
The songstress, who will be performing at the charity show in Boston with Nathan Evans, Saint Phnx, Skerryvore and Johnny Mac and the Faithful, said: “I was delighted when I was asked to be part of the advert. I’m from Scotland and Irn-bru is an iconic Scottish brand that makes people smile.
“I’m at a stage of life and career where I want to have fun and enjoy everything I do – which is exactly how I hope people see me.

“This summer is a cause of national celebration and I’m a big Scotland fan, so wanted to help get behind the team – c’mon Scotland!”
Susan, who had a stunt double in the advert, joked: “And as for the breakdancing…. I put my back out! Well, it was a very different experience is all I’ll say! But now I’ve got two new things to add to the CV.
“Irn-Bru always talks about having the ‘girders’ to do something, which is really another way of saying bravery, of just giving something a go. And from the first moment I stepped out on that BGT stage, I’ve tried to live by that. It’s been brilliant seeing the reaction of fans to it.”
She added: “I can’t wait to cheer on the whole team in the World Cup. Super John McGinn is obviously my favourite player – he’s brilliant. I’m also a big fan of Andy Robertson – I met him, and he was lovely.”
Talking about the positive reaction to her glam makeover for her collaboration with Cornetto Susan, whose new merchandise range is flying off the shelves, said: “I was really surprised at the massive reaction to my new look – the response has been incredible, and everyone has been really complimentary.”
Susan’s jaw-dropping first audition on Britain’s Got Talent – singing I Dreamed A Dream from Les Misérables – is one of TV’s most memorable moments.
Broadcast on April 11, 2009 and watched by 10 million, her performance was an instant sensation. The clip has now been viewed on YouTube more than 300million times.
It’s been 17 years since that day changed her life beyond all recognition seeing Susan duetting with some of the world’s biggest stars including Andrea Bocelli, Elaine Paige and Donny Osmond.
But there are still a number of singers on her duet bucket list. She said: “I’m so lucky with the people I’ve done duets with over the years – I could never imagine being in a situation having sung with such talented people.

Susan, who has performed for the late Queen and Pope Francis, has amassed a legion of celebrity fans.
Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet named the Scots singer as one of his greatest living Britons.
While promoting his film Marty Supreme , the actor praised her iconic BGT audition and sent her a branded film jacket.
And during their reunion tour at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh last year, Liam Gallagher dedicated the Oasis hit “Stand By Me” to Susan.
She said: “I’ve still got the jacket Timothee sent me. I love him – he’s a really nice guy.
“When Liam dedicated the song to me I felt very humble. I couldn’t believe it – I’m a huge fan. They have so many great songs – I’d maybe say Champagne Supernova is my favourite Oasis songs but it’s very hard to pick as they are all good.
“I’m so lucky to have met so many incredible stars. Meeting Donny Osmond for the first time was definitely a life highlight.
“I’ll never forget meeting him for the first time in a hotel, I couldn’t believe it, I’m a huge fan!”
Susan is looking forward to the Daily Record Pride of Scotland Awards with P&O Cruises which takes place in Glasgow on Monday night.
She said: “I’ve been going to the awards for a few years now. The winners always move me to tears as they have done so many wonderful things. It’s a great celebration of people who should be put on a pedestal.
“There have been so many wonderful moments at Pride of Scotland. Meeting Wilson the wee therapy pony was a real highlight for me. He is such a lovely wee animal – and the first ever pony that hasn’t bitten me.”
She added: “One of last year’s winners who really touched me was inspirational cancer patient Georgie Hyslop, who has raised so much money for other children, despite what she is going through herself. Her positivity and courage is incredible and she is a true inspiration to us all.”
