Stephen Colbert will never get over certain celebrity fans — including supermodel Paulina Porizkova naming the talk show host her “hall pass.”
“[My friends and I] were going around the table once at dinner, and this guy’s going like, ‘So, who’s your hall pass?’” Colbert, 62, said on a recent episode of his “Strike Force Five” podcast. “And the guy next to me, a friend, goes, ‘Paulina Porizkova.’”
Colbert, who was working on Comedy Central’s Colbert Report at the time, subsequently pulled up his phone and revealed that Porizkova, 61, once named him her “hall pass.”
“I pulled up my phone, opened the People magazine app on [my] phone, and I was Paulina Porizkova’s hall pass,” he recalled. “That was a flex I’ve never ever been able to match on this guy.”
Porizkova first disclosed her crush on Colbert during a 2007 appearance on Good Morning America.
“If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m already very happily married and so is he, apparently, [but] he’s just my kind of guy,” she gushed at the time. “He’s so hot!”
Days later, Colbert addressed Porizkova’s comments on an episode of his eponymous Colbert Report.
“I’m not surprised that I’m ‘just her kind of guy,’” he said. “After all, she’s married to Ric Ocasek. It’s like staring in a mirror. … I probably should give Paulina a call, just to thank her for the compliment.”
The modeling legend was married to rocker Ocasek, 75, from 1989 to 2019, later finding love with Jeff Greenstein. Porizkova announced in July 2025 that Greenstein proposed after two years of dating.
As for Colbert, he has been married to Evelyn “Evie” McGee-Colbert since 1993.
“Look how pretty she is,” Colbert told People earlier this month. “I go like, ‘I can’t believe Evie McGee’s going out with me,’ because I mean, we grew up in the same town like, ‘Wow. Evie McGee, I must be doing OK.’”
He continued, “She’s great company. I try to be equally good company. I don’t think I am as good company as she is. We laugh a lot. She’s the best laugh. She’s the laugh I want to get more than anybody else. That’s the best.”

Colbert and McGee-Colbert, 62, share three children.
While the former Late Show host is McGee-Colbert’s biggest fan, he further acknowledged on “Strike Force Five” that he’s also found actresses Michelle Williams and Rebecca Ferguson to be unexpectedly “attractive.”
“This is not a surprise, Evie knows all this,” he stated, joking that his wife doesn’t have a celebrity crush of her own. “Why would she need one? She has me. I don’t understand.”
