Despite their survival, football pundit Gary Neville heavily criticised the club’s performance, labelling their season as “pathetic”.
Neville stated that the ninth richest club in world football should be ‘ashamed’ of their underachievement, despite winning the Europa League last year.
He highlighted Tottenham’s dismal home form, noting they had not won at home since early December, and described the team as “flimsy, weak, and vulnerable”.
Neville urged manager Roberto De Zerbi to implement significant changes to the squad to improve their fortunes next season.
