Spotify, the world’s most popular audio streaming service, has gone down across the UK this afternoon, leaving thousands of music lovers furious.
The majority of customers (57%) are having trouble accessing the app, while others are reporting problems with the platform’s audio streaming service.
Some users have been unable to log in altogether, according to Downdetector.

Furious Spotify customers who pay for a premium subscription have demanded they get their money back as services remain disrupted due to an outage.
“How about you return some money to customers for app not working correctly. What am I paying premium for???,” one fumed on X.
Another said: “Always the same! Is this what we’re praying premium for????????”
Spotify Premium in the UK starts at £5.99 per month for students and £12.99 per month for adults.
