SPL: Cristiano Ronaldo demands lifetime bans for Saudi Arabian fans over Diogo Jota chants

Al Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has demanded lifetime bans for Saudi Pro League fans who taunted Ruben Neves with chants about his late friend Diogo Jota.

Neves could be seen, during the match on Saturday, responding to Al-Taawoun supporters who made the chants in his direction.

The Portugal midfielder then appeared to signal to the fans that ‘God is watching’, as he pointed first to the sky, then to his eyes and finally in their direction.

The event has triggered a reaction from Ronaldo, who wrote on Instagram: “The league must take action and punish this kind of fan behavior.
