Silo fans are gearing up for the release of the highly-anticipated third season after the epic trailer dropped.
Silo enthusiasts are buzzing with anticipation after Apple TV unveiled the official trailer for the eagerly awaited third series, which promises to see Juliette Nichols (played by Rebecca Ferguson) face her closest brush with death yet.
The 10-episode third series, based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy and already teased with a shorter clip, will launch with its opening episode on 3 July, followed by one fresh episode every Friday.
The third series of the critically acclaimed show reveals an origin story set centuries prior, “while continuing the saga of a dystopian society of 10,000 people living underground under mysterious circumstances”.
In the present day, Juliette survives her forced “cleaning” but returns with barely any recollection whatsoever, as the silo “recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat”.
Meanwhile, in the “Before Times,” journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) “uncover a conspiracy that pulls them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences”.

Joining the cast for the third series are Zukerman and Henwick, who featured in the series two finale, alongside Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney and Matt Craven.
Colin Hanks is set to appear in a recurring role while Steve Zahn is also due to return as Jimmy Conroy.
The two-and-a-half-minute trailer depicts Juliette very much alive following her ordeal in a “box of fire”, despite having lost her memory for three months. She acknowledges that occasional fragments of memory resurface, yet she remains largely conditioned by the information she’s being fed.
Carla McLain (Clare Perkins) then cautions: “The amount of panic if people found out how much time we had left.”

As Juliette continues to question everything and take matters into her own hands in a bid to protect those around her, she risks achieving entirely the opposite outcome.
Camille Sims (Alexandria Riley) issues her a stark warning: “You made your choice, you’ll die. Your friends as well.”
Already commissioned for a fourth and final series, Silo continues to be a massive success on Apple TV, with the platform revealing that devotees have described it as “one of the best sci-fi TV shows today”.

The dystopian drama first began broadcasting in 2023 and with each subsequent series, critical reception has gone from strength to strength.
In an IMDb review, one enthusiastic viewer wrote: “One of the best shows on television. The underlying story is great. But the superb acting and intense feeling of peril, combined with intriguing unknowns make this an addictive show well worth your time.”
Silo season 3 premieres on Apple TV with the first episode on July 3, followed by one new episode every Friday.
