Scullion LAW has announced that associate director Stephanie Grieve was shortlisted for two honours at the Scottish Veterans Awards 2026.

She was nominated for Leader of the Year, sponsored by the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, and also won a silver medal in the Reservist of the Year category, sponsored by Aberdeen.

The award winners were announced at a black-tie event in Support of The Army Benevolent Fund Charity Scotland & The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

Stephanie is a former winner of the Military Values in Business Award at the Scottish Forces in Business Awards 2025.

The Scottish Veterans Awards celebrate individuals and organisations who have made a significant contribution to the lives of veterans and the wider Armed Forces network. Stephanie’s nomination places her among a select group of finalists across Scotland.

At Hamilton-based Scullion LAW, Stephanie plays a key role within the firm’s criminal defence team. Her recognition also aligns with the firm’s wider commitment to supporting the Armed Forces, following the firm’s achievement of the Ministry of Defence Gold Employer Recognition Award.

Stephanie said: “I am honoured to have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Scottish Veteran Awards. It is a privilege to be able to provide the best legal representation to members of the Armed Forces Community.

“Balancing my role at Scullion LAW with my responsibilities as a reservist is something I care deeply about, and I am grateful for the kind nominations. Thank you for all the support from family, friends and my colleagues at Scullion LAW”

Kris Buchanan, partner and head of the criminal defence team at Scullion LAW, added: “Stephanie’s nominations are thoroughly deserved. She brings discipline, leadership and a strong sense of responsibility to her role, and her contribution to the team is significant. We are proud to support her both in her legal career and in her service as a reservist.”

These nominations highlight both Stephanie’s individual contribution and the strength of a culture that supports people to succeed across different areas of their lives and careers.
