Sam Smith partners with BBC to discover new talent for UK residency
- Sam Smith has partnered with BBC Introducing to find 10 emerging musical acts.
- These selected artists will open Smith’s upcoming UK residency shows in Manchester and London.
- Aspiring musicians can upload their music to the BBC Introducing Uploader between 29 July and 5 August, using the “Sam Smith” tag.
- A BBC Introducing panel will shortlist entries, with Smith personally selecting the final 10 acts.
- The residency shows are scheduled for 3 and 4 September in Manchester, and from 8 to 19 September in London, following the release of Smith’s new album, Hazel Eyes.
