At least four people have been killed in a Russian strike on the south eastern Ukrainian city of Kamianske, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Oleksandr Ganzha.
The attack occurred on Saturday amid continued exchanges of long-range missiles and drone strikes between Russia and Ukraine.
Ganzha said five other people were injured in the attack, including a 30-year-old woman who is now receiving intensive care.
The latest strike came despite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s proposal for a temporary ceasefire to coincide with the anticipated visit of US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
