Real Madrid: ‘I’m the oldest’ – Thibaut Courtois makes fresh claims about Mbappe, Vinicius, others

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has made some fresh revelations about his teammates at Santiago Bernabéu.

He identified Kylian Mbappé, Dean Huijsen and himself as some of the club’s most notable pranksters and sleepers, among other classifications.

Courtois had a commendable performance as Los Blancos began their UEFA Champions League campaign with a 2-1 victory at home against Inter Milan earlier this week and helped Los Blancos beat Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga on Saturday.

The experienced Belgian goalkeeper has played in all five matches across various competitions for José Mourinho’s team.

Courtois mentioned several teammates when asked about the biggest prankster, the biggest sleeper and the player who arrives late, among other categories.

He told the club’s official website, “The biggest prankster: Mbappe. The biggest sleeper? Dean. The one who arrives late? That would be me.

“The one who treats the most? Vini. The one who takes a loss the hardest? Again, that would be me. The one who celebrates a win the most? Kylian.

“The team’s DJ? Camavinga, Huijsen, Tchouameni. The team’s dad? That would be me, as I am the oldest. The team’s favorite? Me. The most romantic? Tchouameni.”

After starting the season with three consecutive victories, Real Madrid suffered a 1-0 defeat against Real Betis last weekend, with Mbappé missing a crucial late penalty.

They bounced back on Saturday, beating Rayo Vallecano with Mbappé scoring twice in the 4-1 win.
