Protestant church magazine rebrands after confusion with Reform UK party

A Protestantchurch magazine, formerly named Reform, has rebranded to Reformed to avoid confusion with the political party Reform UK.
The United Reformed Church (URC) announced the change for its national publication after 86 per cent of readers supported a new name in a poll.
Editor Stephen Tomkins stated that readers were experiencing “consternation in local churches” due to the magazine’s name being mistaken for the political party.
The URC emphasised that it is not attached to any political party and does not want its magazine’s name to suggest otherwise.
The URC’s stances on public issues, such as migration and asylum, are often at odds with Reform UK’s policies.
