A nutrition expert has shared their thoughts on the health and slimming advantages of the breakfast the Princess of Wales reportedly has daily. Her Royal Highness is understood to begin each morning with oatmeal or porridge.
A specialist from BarBend claims that this makes an excellent breakfast option. They said that the gradual energy release from oats “keeps Kate filled up and provides enough fuel for her to attend Royal events, exercise and chase after her three children”.
Kate is known for her dedicated fitness regime and enjoys cardio training, weight lifting, cycling, rowing and yoga. Oats “can be great exercise fuel, as they release energy throughout the entire workout”.
The Princess of Wales is also thought to favour antioxidant-packed smoothies for breakfast, which “help her maintain a natural glow and healthy skin,” according to the specialists. A wholesome and flavourful morning smoothie might include “kale, spirulina, matcha, spinach, romaine and blueberries into a delicious blend”, reports the Express.
Starting the day with oats offers numerous health advantages including weight management, specialists at Healthline confirmed. Oats are “a delicious breakfast food, also very filling” and they are “among the healthiest grains on earth”.

Oats are “a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fibre and antioxidants” and they are “very filling”, which may help people lose weight, the health site adds. This breakfast dish does not cost the world either.
Supermarkets sell large packs of oats, with prices starting from as little as 85p from the likes of Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl. Using 40g of oats per morning, the dish costs just under 4p to make – not including any milk or extra toppings.
Adding toppings can help boost a nutritious bowl of porridge to the next level. Try experimenting and find your favourite combinations with foods like bananas, mixed berries, apples, raisins, peanut butter, honey and mixed seeds.
