The call comes after Shona Manderson accused her on-screen partner of sexual misconduct, and two other women alleged they were raped by their on-screen husbands, as revealed in a BBC Panorama documentary.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed they have not yet received any criminal reports but will approach production teams to ensure individuals are aware of how to report allegations.
Channel 4, which broadcasts the show, has removed all previous seasons from its streaming platforms and commissioned an external review into contributor welfare.
Women’s Aid criticised the show’s handling of contestants, stating that producers have a duty of care, while Ofcom has also launched an external review into contributor care on MAFS UK.
