Police make third arrest over ‘attempted arson attack’ at London synagogue
Police investigate suspected arson attack at former synagogue in east London
A third person has been arrested in connection with an attempted arson attack at Finchley Reform Synagogue in north London.
The 19-year-old man was arrested in Portsmouth on suspicion of attempted arson, with Counter Terrorism Policing London leading the investigation.
The alleged incident, which occurred on 15 April, caused no damage to the building and resulted in no injuries.
A 38-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man were previously arrested on the day of the incident and are currently on bail until July.
Commander Helen Flanagan of CTP London confirmed ongoing progress in investigations into various arson attacks and urged the public to report suspicious behaviour due to the severe threat level.
