Former Labour Party National Youth Leader, Prince Kennedy Ahanotu, has criticised former presidential candidate of the party, Mr Peter Obi, accusing him of failing to build enduring political structures and abandoning those who support him.

Speaking on TVC News, Ahanotu argued that Obi’s political history shows a pattern of moving from one platform to another without strengthening existing structures.

“Peter Obi is not a builder of men; he abandons his own people,” he said, adding that genuine leadership required developing institutions and empowering followers rather than relying solely on personal popularity.

Ahanotu also questioned Obi’s commitment to political parties, citing his movements across different platforms over the years.

The former Labour Party chieftain maintained that strong political leadership should be measured by the ability to nurture loyal structures capable of surviving beyond an individual’s influence.
