Robert Garcia says Pam Bondi blamed Todd Blanche over Epstein files
Pam Bondi repeatedly stated “I don’t recall” at least 34 times during her congressional interview concerning Jeffrey Epstein, demonstrating a lack of memory regarding survivors, document redactions, and investigations into high-profile figures.
Bondi asserted that her deputy, Todd Blanche, was responsible for the ‘entire release’ of the Epstein documents, though she quickly clarified she was not “placing blame” and praised Blanche’s performance as acting attorney general.
She claimed she only learned of Ghislaine Maxwell‘s prison transfer after it occurred and expressed that Maxwell “should die in prison”, describing her as a “monster” akin to Epstein.
Lawmakers challenged Bondi on why approximately three million Epstein documents remain unreleased, despite her assertion that all files had been made public, leading to accusations of a government-wide cover-up.
Separately, the Republican-led committee has referred former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine and hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution following an interview with Epstein’s former assistant, Sarah Kellen.
