Osun poll: APC campaign council meeting Monday

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress National Campaign Council for the Osun governorship election, Governor Hope Uzodimma, and the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, will on Monday preside over the inaugural meeting of the party’s campaign council for the August 15 governorship poll.
A notice issued by the APC National Campaign Council invited all members of the council to the meeting, scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Kano State Governor’s Lodge, 30 Jose Marti Street, Asokoro, Abuja.
The notice was jointly signed by Uzodimma and Barau in their capacities as chairman and secretary of the council.
The statement partly read, “All members of the National Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress for the Osun State Governorship Election are invited to the meeting of the council.
“The meeting is scheduled to hold on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Kano State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro at 3:00 p.m.”
The planned meeting comes barely one week after the APC constituted the 276-member National Campaign Council as it intensified efforts to wrest Osun State from the Accord Party ahead of the governorship election.
