Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo on Sunday paid a surprise visit to the governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, at the Osun Government House.
Obasanjo’s visit followed the Independent National Electoral Commission’s declaration of Adeleke as the winner of Saturday’s keenly contested governorship election.

In a video currently making the rounds on social media, Obasanjo was seen dancing with the governor in celebration of his victory.
DAILY POST reports that President Bola Tinubu, state governors and other political leaders have been sending congratulatory messages to the governor.
While the governor extended an olive branch to all his opponents, the All Progressives Congress, APC, said it was still reviewing the results and might take legal steps to challenge them.
