Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has celebrated the re-election of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, as the governor of Osun State.
The singer expressed his excitement in a brief post on X following the announcement of the election result by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Davido simply wrote, âwe did it,â in reaction to Adelekeâs victory.
INEC had declared Adeleke, who contested the governorship election on the platform of the Accord Party, the winner of the August 15 poll.
The governor secured 511,067 votes to defeat his closest challenger, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who polled 444,815 votes.
The result secured Adeleke another term in office after a closely contested election across the state.
Davido, a prominent member of the Adeleke family, had openly supported his uncle and had previously celebrated his political milestones.
