Yusuf Lawal, a Nigerian professional footballer and late actor Ogogo’s son in-law, has debunked viral reports that his wife has given birth.
It was widely reported that the footballer’s wife, Kira Taiwo, welcomed a baby boy two days after Ogogo’s death.
Reacting to the development in a disclaimer post on his Instagram story on Wednesday night, Yusuf said: “This is not true.”
While urging the public to stop sharing an unverified report about his family, he wrote, “We’ve been receiving calls and messages from family and friends asking about it, so we felt the need to clarify publicly.
