12 clubs have been drawn into four groups for the 2026 Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL,Nationwide Championship, DAILY POST reports.
The championship will run from Saturday August 15 to Sunday August 23 in Aba.
The tournament will produce two teams for promotion to the 2027 NWFL Championship.
Group A features Kwara United Queens, Solo Wonders Babes, and Spunky Blazers FA.
In Group B are C2E Sports Academy, Bayelsa Princesses and Lakeside Queens.
Group C consists of Onimarg FC, Ubakala Babes, and NAF Queens of FCT.
Group D is made up of Plateau United Queens, Obosa Football Academy and Osklean FC.
The NWFL Nationwide is the third tier of women’s football in Nigeria and serves as the pathway to the NWFL Championship and ultimately the NWFL.
