Reigning Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions Rangers has secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Warri Wolves in a pre-season friendly, DAILY POST reports.
The encounter took place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
The match ended goalless in the first half as the Seasiders matched the NPFL champions in possession and created several scoring opportunities.
Rangers found the breakthrough in the second half to claim the win in the keenly contested encounter.
The encounter is aimed at preparing both teams for the new campaign.
Rangers and Warri Wolves are strengthening their squads with new players for the challenges of next season.
The Flying Antelopes will compete in the CAF Champions League in the coming season.
