Four-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions Kano Pillars have commenced a one-week closed camping exercise in Abuja ahead of the 2026-27 NPFL season.
The Sai Masu Gida arrived in the Federal Capital Territory on Friday following a series of warm-up matches in Katsina.
Daniel Ogunmodede’s side will use the exercise to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the new season.
They will also play more friendly matches while in Abuja.
The Kano-based club managed to escape relegation on the final day of last season.
Kano Pillars will commence their 2026-27 campaign with a clash against Kwara United in Ilorin on Sunday, 30 August.
