Sporting Lagos technical adviser, Jeffery Buter, has commended his players for their performance in the local derby win over Inter Lagos.
The modest club thrashed Inter Lagos 3-0 in a matchday three fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Sunday.
Sodiq Ayoade, Aliyu Baba and Valentine Joseph were on target for Sporting Lagos.
Buter believed that it was a good response following the defeat in their opening game of the campaign against Doma United.

“We knew we hadn’t beaten them since inception, it wasn’t another game for us after losing in the first game of the season we have to bounce back.
“What a way to respond and kudos to the team.”
