NPFL: Ali laments Bendel Insurance’s ‘unlucky’ loss to Nasarawa United

Bendel Insurance head coach, Jolomi Ali, has said his team deserved more from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday two encounter against  Nasarawa United.

The Benin Arsenals fell 1-0 to their hosts at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

Sam Pam’s 55th minute strike separated the two teams on the night.

Ali said his team’s poor marksmanship cost them a positive result.

“It’s really unlucky for us not to get something positive out of this ground, especially after many games here,” Ali said after the game.

“We created a lot of chances, but couldn’t convert any.”

Bendel Insurance will host Kun Khalifat FC  in their next league game this weekend.
