Bayelsa United have started preparations for the 2026/27 Nigeria National League, NNL, season, DAILY POST reports.
The Prosperity Boys’ players and officials reconvened at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa, on Monday after the end-of-season break.
Bayelsa United’s first training session was supervised by assistant coach Ngozi Elechi alongside Anderson West.
The players underwent light fitness drills and tactical routines as the coaching crew assessed their conditioning ahead of a more intensive build-up programme.
DAILY POST reports that Bayelsa United last week appointed Abdullahi Maikaba as their new technical adviser.
Bayelsa United were relegated from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season.
