The race for places in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will be decided on Wednesday as the final Group C matches take centre stage.

Defending champions Nigeria will face Egypt, while group leaders Malawi take on Zambia in the other decisive fixture.

A Zambia victory over Malawi, combined with a Nigerian win against Egypt, would leave the three sides tied on six points after the group stage.

Should that scenario play out, the Confederation of African Football will use the head-to-head results involving Zambia, Nigeria and Malawi to determine the final group standings.

The top two teams in the group will progress to the quarter-finals.

Nigeria’s clash with Egypt is scheduled to kick off at 9 p.m. West African time at the Stade Olympique de Rabat.

The match will be broadcast live on AfroSport, an official WAFCON rights holder, as well as on SuperSport and CAF TV.
